Hi, I’m Kiara!
I’m a UX Designer based in Dubai. I have a passion for creating experiences that invite users to feel free and at ease.
Before shifting to this path I was an aspiring architect who’d just completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Cape Town. It was during my time studying and interning that I realised how slow it would be to make a positive impact in the field of construction. My interest in architecture stemmed from a need to make people feel safe and comfortable. I am now able to do that through user-centric design - only now it’s digital.
Having a design process is essential and my experience as an architect helps me retain that mindset and everyday. I enjoy using my skills to interact with users for research as well as iterate on designs for a see less final product.
In my spare time I enjoy learning languages, reading and watching an impressive amount of TV.
